Facebook Friend Cube Project |
| So the
quest is on! It's quite simple really... I'm looking
for a programmer who knows how to create a Facebook
Application that the whole world can enjoy the benefits of. The Initial Idea The idea has stemmed from applications that I have already seen on Facebook, where people can build a mosaic grid of their friends. But this is very two dimensional and looks pretty flat, although an impressive application that helps users to easily find their friends. But I want people to showcase these in a new fashion. Introducing the Cube! Hey, well its not exactly the reinvention of the wheel, but its 3D!! Simply just a Rubik's cube that can have thumbnail photos of the users friends attached to each portion of the cube. The Maths So as the image shows at the moment, you can only view three faces of the cube, showing a maximum of 27 thumbnail images when full. If this was a true Rubik's cube that we could move to see all the faces of the cube, then a maximum of 54 thumbnails could be added. The Requirement If you can program such an application then please let me know and I can provide you with Adobe PSD files, that I create for the above Cube... That's if you need them of course!! The Reward!
